This book is dedicated to the memory of my late wife, Lynda, who inspired, stimulated, and stirred me almost every single day of my life that I spent with her and to my four grandchildren – Cooper, Easton, Lola, and Madden – who gave me the reason to continue to breathe and live my remaining life instead of just survive it. I hope one day they will be able to read this book to learn about their nana and poppa – who they were, where they came from, where they lived and how much they loved them.
